ANSM - What is it all about!!?

The Australian National Supra Meet (ANSM) all started back in 2006 the Qld Club thought it was would be great idea to get to know the rest of Australia's Supra owners, and what better way to do that then to arrange a weekend away!!!

The first destination in 2006 was Coffs Harbour and the weekend was a huge success- friends from NSW and VIC came along and before we knew it there was 30 odd people drinking and laughing together and some 15 Supras!

It was from that weekend that we decided to make it the National Meet every year on the Queens Birthday Long weekend it would be the Supra Clubs weekend to party, socialise and get know our other members.

In 2007 the interest was much bigger and better, 70 people attended the event and around 50 Supras- can you imagine Port Macquarie when we all drove in!! Following suite 2008 reached higher numbers again, 75 people and 55 Supras.

At some stage we would live to crack the 100 barrier- that would be a weekend you would never forget!

The ANSM is NOT a car show, it is a social meet for Supra owners or enthusiasts, their friends and partners. Hence the word meet in the title. It is also understandably difficult to pick a location which suits everyone in Australia due to its vast size.

Events

It is not only a drinking weekend, we also spend many hours taking part of some of the most energetic and hilarious activities we can find!! Not only do we get dirty and muddy we also encourage a little interstate rivalry, health competition if you like! Some that we have enjoyed since ANSM started have been:

• Shenanigans.... ;)
